Bought this off of the original owner. 1986 4Runner. Smittybuilt bumpers all around, 4 inch lift, Bushwacker flares, 15x10 wheels with 33x12.50 tires. New motor put in 2001, and it was parked soon after. New clutch as well. I rescued it after 12 years of sitting. Bought it as a gift for my dad. He had two first gens as I was growing up. I also needed a reason to buy it. hahaha
Anyone wanna trade wheels? Id like some 15x10 Centerlines.

Figure id stop lurking around and post a few pics of my turd. Here's a little back story on the truck. My grandpa bought it new back in July of 88 exactly a month after I was born guess you could say me and the truck go way back. Unfortunately he passed away in December of last year and I was lucky enough for him to leave it to me, ive wanted the truck for as long as I can remember and dont think Illl ever part ways with it.
Anyways heres a few pics of how it sits as of yesterday and with fairly low miles. Nothing special just the normal 22re and 5 speed. Oh and does anyone have any good tips to get the stripes of the bed and cab, they are looking rough especially the passanger side.

So....... Uh what happened?
This is my old 89 4Runner.
Right now I have a 1991 Toyota X-tra cab 4x4 3.0 V6 with 217k miles.
Still runs like a champ even though she's not pretty.
I do miss my 4Runner though.
I had made a Custom 1-off soft-top/bikini top that I sold for dirt cheap. It used the original bold holes for the hard top and had zip in sides and zip in back (fastback style).

Letting it warm up early in the morning. forgot something in the house. Came outside to see it ghost riding down the driveway. E-brake was engaged and working proper, been sitting there for 10+ minutes. So I dont know. Dogs were in the back so I jumped in trying to stop it and flopped it as stated over an 8ft retaining wall I dint know was there. As much fun as it was to ghost ride bikes as a kid, none at all for my Yota!
