The 87 got a few little updates. Keep an eye out on youtube.com/TheAlexManVideos for videos showing the OME spring install, BudBuilt install, and how to cure driveline vibrations.
OME springs and TG U-bolt flip kit. No driveline vibrations as some have reported.
This is right after installation. It has settled down about an inch in the rear which makes it just about perfectly level with the 1.5" BJ spacers and stock adjustment T-bars.
Took out the bolt and welded in a 3/8" dowel rod. No worries of the bolt contacting the tank.
BudBuilt single case crossmember. This is sold for stock drivetrain height but it actually brings the driveline up a little bit. This threw off my driveline angles and caused a bit of vibration at high speed. Your results may differ if you have stock springs. I have OME springs which didn't vibrate before the BudBuilt was installed. 4Crawler shims are in the mail.
4Crawler HiLift mount plus a custom mount which allows the HiLift to be locked and secured.
Also added a power inverter to charge phones, laptops, or cameras while I'm driving/wheeling. A 70 amp circuit breaker under the hood stops overdraw and is usually left off to prevent people from stealing my power.

Thanks. I'm happy that the P/O bought it instead of me. CanBacks are the most expensive softtops made.
It's a plastic mount that came with the extinguisher which has been hose-clamped to the roll bar. It was done by the P/O and not really my idea of a clean installation. But it hasn't moved in two years so I'll leave it. I also mounted an extinguisher in front of the passenger seat. It's easily accessible, hidden, well secured, and doesn't interfere with the seat sliding. I made a nice mount for it so it looks a bit cleaner than a couple hose clamps.
I have two straps. That's my big one which rarely gets used. My little one rolls up smaller and fits in the little cargo compartment.
The BudBuilt went in pretty easy. It's a nicely built product but keep in mind it will bring your trans up about an inch. In my case it messed with my driveshaft angle. Your results may vary.

I appreciate the heads up. I've got a front diff drop, so I'll keep an eye on my front driveshaft and make sure everything's good.

A Day At La Jolla Shores
Ruby Tuesday early to the beach...
... and after a hours of kayaking... passing by this Tacoma (probably 2WD) that's almost down to its rear bumper in sand.
What's a 2WD truck doing on the beach, and worse yet facing the water? A macho truck doesn't necessarily mean it can handle all conditions.

Finished, FINALLY, regarding the triple sticks install and readjusting and locating the floor placement for the boot and then with some pretty serious cutting and grinding on the bottom I got the shifter bezel with pocket back in! Woohoo... Lol...
I also secured the console fire making sure the mounting tabs we're fully secured. The pinch welds on the rear most mounting bracket for the console had completely sheered free and the only thing holding it there was a carpet, haha. .....
Are then decided in spite of coming down with something that I need to really push the springs a little bit here and there, to start to break them in so to speak... This thing rides in freaking credible! Lol... Nothing too crazy but it was fun to have every car and truck passing by totally tripping out and wondering what the hell I was doing! Hahahahaha...
I also re did my low pressure line on my new gearbox to cooler location..... So hopefully no more leaky!

WORK, Truck....
Put her through the paces Sat. morning. 11 80# bags of sakcrete, and 15 8x8x16 concrete block loaded and hauled home.

After unloaded, the springs went right back to the original height. I was hoping the weight would help settle them a little more.
