Figured I'd introduce myself here. As good a place as any eh?
This is my girl, I took the pic from her "good side" the toolbag who owned her before (the one before the guy *I* got her from) didn't realize that they reinforce those little green mile marker thingers on the side of the freeway... /facepalm. she's got a bit of a crease on the pass. hood and her bumpers a bit monkeyed up...
soon as I lift her saggy butt I'm going to get it taken care of.

Just my opinion but I think the blue hilux would look a lot better with just a solid black color underneath. Are you going to change it back?

Well I thought I would give my truck a post. There are a few more things I would like to do to it. But I am starting school back up this semester so I think my Toyota is going to be pretty far down on the list of expenses.
The info is in my sig
The day after she came home-

This is how it is looking now-

Not much difference. But enough that it has been fun to work on. I really want to stay with the clean look. I have been tempted to take off the decals down the side but I'm not sure.

Go to napa or a body supply shop and get a "3M stripe off wheel" its like $30 or so, its just a big eraser and it goes on the end of your drill.

hair dryer/heat gun and guitar picks work well to get decals off... i used to have to remove them all the time working in a body shop. then some rubbing alcohol or metholated spirits to get the excess glue off.
