Well it only has 48,950 miles on it but it threw a rod cap threw the pan and now needs a rebuild. So i'm going to pull the engine and go with all new parts and put her back to new again. The truck has no rust and no dents other than 1 or 2 dings. I am going to keep it pretty much stock. It is to clean to tear up, so just go over the suspension and make sure it's all working then drive her and have fun.

Seeing the red and extended cabs got me to wanting to show my next project. I will start it on January the 11th as I started my 88 Runner on January 11 2011 and then my 86 Runner on January 11th of 2012 and to keep things easy to remember this one will be January 11 2013. It looks good in the pictures but the only thing good is body, and frame. It was used as a parts truck and had a 89-95 interior in it and poorly done at that. It is in terrible shape. Wiring is butchered up, bad paint job with lots of runs and peeling,... It is going under the knife, but will come out as a clean stock 85 extra cab. Will be doing a full frame off restore.

Still not sure what I will do color wise, but am thinking red with tan interior or gray. Several colors are still being thought over.

I'm not going to hack it up, I just mean I will be doing work on her. Pulling motor out to rebuild and maybe new wheels at the most. No lift or major changes like that. She is to PURE haha.

Never been a tacoma fan, and the newer the model the less I like them, again personal preference.

Did you pick this up from Pittsview? I am pretty sure it has been on craigslist the last couple weeks. Seller said it needed motor work.

Yeah, the motor needs to be rebuilt. I have not got a chance to pull it out yet and see what all is hurt yet. I don't think it is to bad.

Too clean/expensive to play with IMO. I would probably cry if I put a scratch in it.
