Ian; Nice lil boat! Gonna do some fishin, eh?

Tim Steele; ... LOVE the rig! Had that color TWICE, on an 83 and 86..... one of my fav's. (Is that an 87-8-9? Asking cuz of the grill... I'm 87 and that's my grill.. 86 is 2 center vertical pillars on the grill..... Do you have a build thread? 25 posts..... and you're rolling that... So I assume you were working on it since a lil before July of this year, maybe? hehehe. Anyway, as I said, ..SICK! Can you take a couple pics on level ground?

BMcel; I'm curious..... do you mean that the headlights he has in are those plug in the back reflective housing types like roundeyes dot com does? Not a fan? lol. I JUST started reading 4crawlers 'Headlight wiring upgrade' in his "cheap tricks"

Tim I 2nd what Mark said. Do you have any pix of the truck down. On flat floor? Throw in some interior and engine pix while you're at it. You truck pretty clean and well kept I'd like to see the condition of the rest of the truck to kill my curiosity. Show me your truck porn!

I mean fake projectors as in they have the little fake projector lens in them that does nothing but disrupt light output. I had some back in the day when I thought they were cool...they're not, and they suck. Roundeyes, Hella, Autopal, and Cibie all have good reflector housings.

Just flicking ya crap Tim, that's a clean truck.

Ahhhhh, ...ok, thanks, BMcel Roundeyes are what I would get if one of my silverstars go out. Til then, I'm good, ...but yeah, wanna plan ahead. Heck, by then, they might FINALLY allow LED Conversions, right? hahaha.

Finally on the road

Bought it in July for $1200, about a grand in mechanical to pass safety and ten spray bombs of Tremclad.

Took off the 31x10.5 BFG A/T KO's and sold them and the alloys they came on ($600), removed the 6 Hellas and Carr bar and sold that ($175), returned it to stock to be my DD.

The rims and winter tires on it came off my old 1990 Runner that got scrapped and I picked up another set of factory alloys for $100, sandblasted them, painted the indents, clear coated them and will be shod with new rubber next spring.
