Hey guys, I got my 4runner rebuilt finally. She wasnt running for about 10 months, and was in the process of rebuilding her since the end of July. Got her started this last wednesday, and fully buttoned back up tonight. Running great! I'm so stoked! My Tundra will now go to being my second vehicle/winter beater.

The 22re feels SOOO gutless compared to the 2uzfe (4.7L v8)

thanks!

well think of it this way, the re may feel gutless but at least it has more power than not running and this way you are able to drive it lol

haha thanks. i was told that it had a 2-3 inch lift when i bought it but i havent been able to tell how its lifted. the back end was always a little raked. i just trimmed about an inch off the fenders and i just got back inside from beating the pinch weld in and the inner fender so that there is less rubbing. it is definitely a tight fit!

Whew. Had to come see what somewhat said about BIG EARS. I thought the comment was about a human baby! I have had two half Weimaraner half labs. The first one lived to be 15 1/2! The one I have now is almost 9 and still seems youthful. She was a "mistake" at a breeders that breeds Weimaraner and Labs. Papa was a yellow Lab. She always rides shotgun!

Well since we're showing dog pix, here are my 2 dogs. They love taking trips in the truck. The bigger one automatically runs and jumps into the truck herself. This is in one of our trips to Azusa CA. the bridge to nowhere hike. It's a nice 12mile hike with about 5 river crossings waist deep.
I wish i was able to find the picture i had of both of them in the truck. but i cant seem to find it so this one will do.
