I went on vacation last week with my new Cooper STT's.
They did everything I wanted them to do...Awesome tire!
I put down 1,193 miles on them driving out in the "Void" and threw everything at them, rock, mud, dust, and over 600 miles of rock and gravel roads.
I took about 400 pictures on a 9 day trip "Into The Void" so I will be posting a few here and there. I have pictures before, during, and after the trip.
Remember, I bought this truck brand new in 1990 and I have over 325k on my truck with the original motor and I am still not afraid to drive it anywhere.
She ran like a champ on the trip. I wrote down all the mileage and gallons of gasoline and my over all MPG was 20.5 for 1,193 miles.
These pictures are of the first day of the trip. I put the tires on a week before these picture were taken so there is about 250 miles on them.

I LOVELOVELOVE The STTs. If I hadnt of gotten a good deal on the Wranglers, I was going to buy a set of the STTs for my Tundra.
Hopefully STTs will go on my 4Runner this year

1.5" 4Crawler BJ Spacers(pretty much everything, including CV's now are new/or restored, but nothing else related to "LIFT")/12"x125# Zuk Coil Mod in the rear, in my sig below(Southwest Speed Coil) on 32x11.50x15 Mud King MT's by BFG. Thanks, man, appreciate the kind words

You need to opt back in to the switch and use a relay, I'm having a hard time understanding why you would run 2 55 w foglights with your running light wiring. And I'm surprised it's working. But hey mayby it will be fine that way?

I ran it that way because I didn't want to accidentally leave them on and drain my battery. When I first did it, there were some wiring issues; like when I turned the truck off and removed the key, the radio stayed on. It was a simple fix, I just removed the ground terminal and voila: fixed. I may end up downgrading the bulbs, because the halogens are a little much. I basically just wanted the housings.

nice. that bike looks good on there. so you set up camp at the truck and go out on the bike for the day? seems like a good weekend getaway
you still need a relay. car manufacturers use the smallest wiring they can get away with, so even the smallest load on an existing circuit will cause issues. if you don't know how to safely wire some basic lights up, search before you instal, then plan it out, then test and finalize. (hint: wire the switch in series with the parking lamps to keep them from being left on. there is a wire in the cab that will let you do this easily)

Just looking out for other yota techies, if you plan on keeping the truck it won't be the first set of electronics you install. A relay to a good 12v source will guarantee longevity and you don't end up with a hacked factory system, as Irab said hundreds of threads on lights and relays once you start searching and reading you will get plenty of ideas.
