Horrible choice of wheel and tire size. Too big, talk about making your truck slower than it already is.

I hate to agree but G is right, if you're dead set on keeping those 35's with those huge rims at least lift it. Sorry to bash but im not a fan.

Blindfoldmemphis those tires dont rub? I know I had to trim a tiny piece of the inner wheelwell plastic to stop my 31's from rubbing. I can only imagine what 35's would sound like lol

BTW Kickass tires, I used to have those same ones on my previous rig. Only in 31's don't you just love how they humm while you drive. My friends always knew when I was coming down their block with the sound of those thornbird tires, loud music, and FlowMaster exhaust. Lol

Why did you have to trim anything? i run 31's and i can hit the bumpstops front and rear, lock to lock with no rubbing?

They do rub a bit. I just got them last night, summer is almost over, better enjoy them now, I got them for 300, figured the rims worth twice that so... why not?

Just the a tiny tiny piece of the plastic front wheel wells. literally only 2cm by 1inch. Toward the back innner part of them. I had to cut because there was rubbing going on so every time i would make a tight turn it would sound like a Bike with a card in its spokes only louder. Cutting the small piece fixed that problem.

No lift, a lot of rear end sag and stock gears on a 3.0 5 speed.
Going to stay off the freeway and just cruise.

and they look like tractor tires, I hope they are legal, going for a small lift later, the turning hits a bit... but I am here to enjoy summer in my runner
nice rig. I wonder why people cover up their license plates, people in the town you live in see your license plate on a daily basis....

Thornbirds...

Are you sure those are 35s? They barely look any taller than the 31s. I think if you went from 31s to 35s with that little distance between the rear wheel well and the top of the tire, the 35s would be constantly rubbing.

For $300, you got ripped off. I say de-mount the tires from the rims and sell the rims themselves. You'll get more money that way. No one will want the Thornturds, so you might as well take them to an angry neighbors front porch, defecate on them, light them on fire, ring the door bell, and run away. That's about all they're good for...maybe not even that.

Gots me some new tirres

Got new tires and fit them on my almost stock runner
zuk with XJ coils gave around 2 inches and I cranked the T bars for only about an inch of lift in the front, should sit level with top on.
35x15.5 Swamper SXs and no rubbing when I turn for some reason? lock to lock and it only rubs at full lock.
