Yakamoto.............. Cool. I was reading a thread and someone was kind of joking on someone saying, Why would you want to lift a 2wd truck. I gathered that the truck is used for dune riding in Arizona. I am curious if the trucks are light enough to be able to do it. I am close to the Pines in Jersey and Beach and would love to Baja it a bit

it was like that when i got it. I figure probably got a bunch of gravel tossed its way sometime. I was thinking about putting on a bug shield and maybe painting some of the front of it black, but it might look stupid, so i dunno. If i repainted it, it wouldn't match cause the whole truck is faded haha. so i dunno, the only real option seems like to paint the whole truck or say f it... i'll go with the latter

i say paint the hood black and leave some red (or what ever color it is) as a stripe or something ? that way u can have a better looking hood with out it having to matching the rest of the yota

I personally wouldn't jump my truck, but it is fairly easy to set the 2wd toyota's up for jumping. There are a few companies that make great suspension parts for the 2wd's. The reason that I lifted mine was so that could go on a few mild trails and also I like the way it looks lifted. Sure beats looking stock.
I copied yakamoto1988's pic to a thread here (about lifting 2WD):
