Those are some sexy tires.
See this is one reason I am kinda leaning toward 5.29 gears cuz the front axle I bought already has 5.29's. But I like going faster then 65mph. I don't want a lot of torque loss from 5.29's so i am leaning more toward 4.88s since they can still handle 33-35"tires yet still have the ability to go faster

torque loss from 5.29's ?? not following u will get more torque from 5.29's then u will from 4.88's......4 banger with 38's and still get 65-70 not problemo could go more but suspension is way to soft to be comfortable at those speeds, keep the 5.29s i believe u will be happy with them....p iii
I'm running a 1989 4runner with a 3.0 V6(getting rebuilt atm) and gonna do the SAS as soon as i get it back from the mechanic.

Redeth....
I mean, if you're going to go with 35's, FOR SURE, then, well, I'd just grab another 5.29 for the rear and roll with it that way for the time being.... IF you just don't like the lil higher RPM's at 75 or whatever you wanna roll... then keep the 5.29's for the eventual 35's, ...and find a set of 4.88's for the 33's. You can EASILY sell them the second you don't want em. Yes, it's a bit more work, but swapping out gears is not A HUGE deal, ya know? Especially on a SAS'd one.
I only went up to 4.30's for the 31's I have(Great guy on here hooked me up with the 4.30's with a locker in the rear) .... 4.56's would be speedo exact, etc., w/a lil higher RPM, but I REALLY think the 4.30's are fine for me, as I'm able to do 90-95mph in my 22re-on-31's with 4.30's/ and climb the cahon pass at 65-70, even in 5th gear in some parts and with the A/C on! lol........ I would imagine with 4.56's I could get close to that top speed, but it'd be WHINING,....a LIL more? lol... With 4.30's I'm already at 3K RPM at 70(I think... I'll look it up on my thread eventually for ya, lol)...
I get the feeling by speed you're meaning 80mph at a steady clip without REALLY high rpm. BUT, as you go to 33's with 4.88's, the RPM will be around the same as 4.10's with stock 28's. 5.29's with 33's would bring the RPM a bit higher and the speedo would be a lil off.... BUT, not that dramatically.... And, well, you could always climb a barn with it if you wanted to! lol.
