Nice, Storm Trooper! Love our rigs in white! 89 eh? Been noticing that most of my 89 and up 22RE buddies average like 4MPG more than myself, lol... How's the mileage with the 33's and an Auto Trans??
Thanks, yea my MPG is terrible last time I filled up it was 14mpg but what's strange is when I had my 31's my MPG was still 13 to 14.

Hmmm, ok... I'm still pretty SLOW when it comes to certain computer 'stuff's'! lol. Tripped me out though, nice! lol.
Yea it's ridiculous, I'm way out in SB County so I don't get much of that L.A traffic and 98% of my drive is highway @ part throttle so I don't understand why the terrible gas mileage. Glad it isn't my daily but I'm still trying to look into solutions.

Wow. Well I also have a V6 3.0 at the moment running 31's, and for the little bit that I did run it I noticed it was a major gas guzzler. But ill give you guys some insight once I get my truck back from getting rebuilt. And also all the emmissions stuff. Hopefully(crossing fingers) Ill get at least 20mpg.
By the way another thing I noticed is fueling up at those cheap ARCO, Valero, thrifty, etc gas stations really suck. They have crappy gas. Even on my 1.8l Corolla daily driver I noticed a huge difference when i use it. It chugs the gas from those places like water. But Whenever I get the good gas from 76 or Shell gas stations it will last me almost 1/4 to 1/3 longer then the cheap stuff. I know its more pricey but in the end the way i see it is, what do you prefer; fueling up a bunch of times or fueling up with the good stuff that will last you longer and lesser fuel ups. You guys should give that a shot as an experiment just once and see if it also works for you.
I discovered that by force when i was on empty and had no other choice but to fill up at a 76 station.
