Here are a few photos of my 90' 4runner. Its on 38" TSL's.
Those zip ties did nothing, just looped through 4 holes in the bumper, my friends think they are hilarious.

Limiting straps kind of kept it from flexing to much.

Nice work!

Im actually having a local guy build me some N-Fab style steps for it. To get in the back my friends have to use the rear tire and they are in shape. My girl nor my 5 & 6 year old can get in. I dont rock crawl or anything like that. Pretty much find a mud pit or a trail and play around.

Heres one of our 04 jetta parked behind it. Kind of an optical illusion due to the angle but the rear bumper sits higher than where the side mirror is.

Yea, my boys have to jump to get in mine. I don't want it really high because I haul a canoe on top for camping and whitewater. Any higher and I couldn't load it.

Is that bed liner around the rear lower portion? I was thinking about bed lining the lower portion of mine all the way around but my buddy asked me if he could repaint my truck and air brush silver ghost skulls along the bottom.

Did you coat it over with something? Linseed oil is a very high maintenance finish, especially when used outside and it takes weeeeeeks to cure and wont last very long...

Don't you worry I build furniture and have a proprietary concoction that works wonders on outdoor furniture.

and i finally caved to the gas demon and sold off my 31's and picked up a set of 235 75 R15's on black steel american racing rims for wicked cheap on craigslist. i gained about 3 extra miles to the gallon, and thats without 5th gear on the highway (5th gear bearing went in my tranny) and with all the Vermont hills. the tires are a bit small for my liking, but ill take 23 mpg highway
