Prior fire service... I have an eye for that kind of thing... and I don't know if it was there before, but I see it in your sig too. Pictures is what I focus on.
Amber/Amber so must be for non-emergency use...

I know this isn't for this thread, but look what i found..
1979 Toyota Pickup 4x4.
I left a note with my contact info. It is a two owner truck from cali, with only 65,000 miles. Guy wants $2,000 but i want to talk him down. Supposedly it works just fine.

My point was don't let the guy use the mileage as a selling point.
They didn't have 6 digit odometers until 81 or 82.

Just got my bumper back from powder coat. Still need to wire the winch and the lights.
Also got a rear bumper and sliders from wabfab. Not powder coated yet.
Picked up some doors for $50 today at the swap meet in puyallup. Gonna be greet for half doors. I might also swap the glass in my stock doors. Im just not a fan of the mirror location and corner windows.

Wow this is a long thread! taken me quite a while to read through this but sure was worth it. Now that ive accomplished that i figure its time i add my toys to the list. Ive owned 7 toyotas now (on my 7th) and will be getting an 8th toy soon.
Started with a 1979 2wd for $400 (no pictures of that though)
then bought a 1986 custom cab for $450 (wish i would have kept it)
which looked like this eventually
then traded that for a mint 1985 toy that started its life with me like this
and looked like this when i sold it
But while i had the 85 for my wheeler my dd was a 1980 2wd for $900 that was stock when i bought it but didnt take long til i modified it (i know not the right year)
but then sold that off too, which i then bought a 1985 runner for $500, which i had the intent of putting it back together but ended up parting it out and was going to put one of my SBC and fullsize axles in but have put it on the back burner for now.
went from this
to this
and now to the newest member of the fleet, a 1990 4x with just over 210k on the clock!
not sure where im going to go with this one but im sure it might end up being a snow wheeler/pavement pounder.
