I can't help thinking what that would look like if converted to 4WD. It would be very, very cool.

Vince, buddy, posting those pictures here is like showing candy to diabetic kids. Want so bad, just can't get.

I have stock rear springs on front and rear with 76 F-150 rear leaf spring added in to the stock pack, gave me about 8" lift I think, the tires are 33x13.50x15

Vince, is that the stock bed? That's a sweet truck, are those common over there? How's the power from the diesel?

yup 100 percent standard body and bed, common as here, thousands of them, its the best of both worlds, solid axles, big cab and a big enough try to fit a dirt bike or two with the tailgate flded down, diesel power, well its not really a power monster, id say the equivelent to a 2.2 petrol, turboing it soon as all the 2.4 diesel turbo kit bolts directly onto this motor, and 2.4 turbo diesels are more common than a v6 surf / 4runner

I havent posted in this thread for a long time, so i thought i would contribute. Heres my '91 p/U 4x4. She's been undrivable for 20+ days now, I hate seeing it parked on the side of the house unused. Hopefully I'll get her in the shop this week.

I know exactly how you feel. This year, it seems I get the truck fixed, drive it for a week and something else goes. This time, it's the main rear brake line rusted out right between the frame and fuel tank.
