you can see that 'shiny tire foam' stuff works well on the stone guard and bumper ends too.
What kind of street/bead lock or those ?

hah! it's true! unfortunately, i'm one of 'em...i have a hard time accepting that my truck is red. But i really hate unmatched paint in the engine bay, so red is what it will stay even when i finally get some new paint for it.

i restored a 78 convertible bug, also had to stick with the red. it looked like a big tomato. And my commuter is a 96 Civic hatchbk that's also red.

i'd trade my truck for a comparable build if it was some other color. i prefer EVERY other color 4Runners came in, except red. *sigh*

i look at THIS TRUCK a lot to remind myself it's ok to have a red truck:

and i've got to get some of those bars that fit with the Canback as well.

AND a tire carrier too. ugh 4Runner building is never done!

let's see some more sweet red 4Runners!

Yes, love those stripes. Very retro handsome. Also red it my favorite color truck. Don't know what yall are complaining about. I'd paint mine red if I had the money to spend.

Tj88,
I think that is the guy that owns PowerTank, that is a sick rig. which reminds me to put tree rubbers on my list of mods to do.

thanks, i actually photochopped those dark grey stripes...mine are faded gold, really faded, cracked gold.

if his name is Steve, i believe you're right. i love that truck.

if you want to replace those stickers, jamesdeancreations is a good source. he's a member here last i heard.

If I replace the stickers, they will get painted on when I shoot the whole truck. Wifey keeps insisting she needs a new paint job to go with all the new mods.

I know you HATE red (although I LOVE it) but I have to be honest, your truck is one of my biggest inspirations and helped me create my truck to be the way it is today!

So...Rock on!

Yeah, thanks, man! Me 2! hahaha. Seriously though... it's a miracle I lived. It's NO miracle that I bought another one, considering I lived through that type of wreck. I think they're pretty safe! Here's another angle or 2... yeah,it was pretty sick!... I felt yucky for a while with my multiple breaks, lung punctured, yadda yadda yadda, lol....Seriously, THANKS, Brian... I'm very grateful to be here, ... just think, I wouldn't have met any of ya! lol.

Yeah that's really bad, I was only in one serious accident thank god. I hit a tree at 80mph after a "friend" grabbed the wheel on the highway after we missed an exit... Ever since then he hasn't been a friend.

I had put a TRD shift knob on my transmission shifter a couple of months ago, and my transfer case was starting to feel left out, so.....

There's some truth to that. They are a single stage paint, no clear. So they can be buffed back to shrowroom, well close.
Now the red cab is a different story, those fade to pink.
