Went to the beach this weekend.
These pics are before I got stuck up to my rear axle in sand @ 10:30 at night in the dunes. Never trust your non-gearhead friends to lock your hubs.

I got a 7 day Cape Cod National Seashore pass. It was $50 and I was out driving on the Race Point beach in P-town. Most of the seashore was closed for the week due to piping plovers and other things, but it was definitely a fun weekend. I got buried up to my rear axle on Saturday night, luckily some nice people yanked me out. Then I dropped my tires lower, locked my unlocked hub (thanks friend!) and went about my way. Being the lone truck on the beach at 11 PM and being probably the only 4 people on the beach was pretty awesome. It was SO dark...unreal dark.
I'm gonna look into getting a pass for all of next year and explore. I'm also considering getting one for Sandy Neck and Saquish in Duxbury (although you need to have resident status for that...and I know someone who can get me one), so I have to decide which one I feel like going for.

I go to Dennisport all the time, and sometimes parts of the beach will be closed because the birds nest right on the beach...lol.
I am jealous, i want to get out there and explore. If you want another toyota to wheel with, let me know.
Is it too late to get a pass for this year?

National Seashore Info Page
That's what I used to get my pass. Might be worth a call to the Oversand office and see if they have any.

Surprisingly they're actually just a set of set of 31x10.5 BFGs. They're on 15x8 Cragar D-Windows with a 4" backspacing. They look much bigger than I thought they would (and I'm so pleased about it).
Lots and lots of Bondo!
