Didn't find an intro section so I guess I'll start here. Price of diesel was gettin to me....needed a 4 cyl to get me around town. Was looking for a 2wd but people are outta their damn minds when it comes to pricing their rigs. Worked out to my benefit, here's what I wound up with.

Thanks. Its an '89, 22RE, 5 sp with about 250K highway miles on the odometer. One owner and it was well taken care of, all routine maintenance done at the dealership, no major repairs or collision damage, frame is straight no rust. Actually I don't even think the guy wanted to sell it but he was nearing retirement and it was his work truck, think the wife mighta been pushing to sell. Gonna need tires soon but after passing smog and replacing all the fluids its running like a champ.
I'm pretty happy I found a rig with a camper. I do alot of overnight kayakfishing, spearfishing, snowboarding, surf, mt bike trips.....its gonna come in handy. Just need to beef up the fiberglass up top so I can add a rack system.

I have a Thule tracker rack drilled right into my fiberglass top and it's holding up great. I carry about 70 lbs in bikes from southern NY to northern VT routinely without issue and also a lawn chair with myself in it to chill sometimes.
