well here are pics from testing my homebrewed RTI ramp.
and my little bro welding the ramp.(this is not the finished design that he is working on in this pic. we added more bracing to the final product that actually got tested.)

I scored those rims for $125 off a guy at work. for all 4 and they are perfectly straight. i just need some aluminum polish and a few hours. But it's a 4wd so i don't care.

Just from my local shop 'car bits' and there home brand stuff, it's pretty strong. It you get any on the grass is goes brown in like 5mins then dies for about a month. But it's good stuff, I am in Australia tho so I don't know you equivalent.

i have used purple power degreaser. trust me this stuff works great on grease, oil, just about anything. it works best if the part is hot or warm but doesnt have to be. the longer it sits the better it works. you know that black coat on the starter housing? i dipped the entire starter into a bucket of purple power and in a few hours (forgot about it) the black paint was gone and i didnt even see any paint flakes in the bucket (wonder where it went) didnt damage the metal at all
