dkyleb, just some food for thought. If you do end up doin some re gearing in the rear you will want to redo the front as well if you intend on usin the 4 wheel. If you don't have matching gear ratios there will be binding and prolly breakage somewhere, cuz the rear would be turning slower than the front
Of course. Don't know why I posted 'in the back' in my post

It's on 33.x9.50r15 Dean Mud Terrains, Aussie Locker, and home-made rear bumper. More to come this summer.

Sam, how's it been? Haven't seen you in a while.... Liked the bumper thread, missed the locker, ... congratz. And, ...... Personally, ...... I LOVE our Stock Alloys more than the Razors.... Just my Humble Opinion. Looks good with the MT's, etc. Guessing you're loving the locker, too, eh? Mine's coming in ASAP, ........ just waiting on the right time to post the updates, lol.
PS> Bored, ..... haha. "Yotatechies, we have a gremlin riddled 87 down, .....ER, STAT!"

Yo Chef, school and work have been keeping me busy. I don't document my work on the truck as well as I should either lol. But, this summer I'm really going to start getting some work done and I'll keep a pretty good record for all you Toyota junkies, ha. What locker are you going with? Good luck with all the quirks on the 87, I know how that goes...

Hey Sam, ....going with a Spartan Locker from Yukon. Lunchbox Special! Just locking the rear. If I went to lock the front I would just sell my soon to be fully restored IFS and go SFA, period. Don't really want to mess with locking the front on IFS.
Far as the quirks, ...yeah, if you have any thoughts stop by my build thread below in the sig. I've listed most of it a few posts back from the latest. Gonna be adding something too.... really frustrated a bit, .......but whatever, just keep moving forward til it's all done, lol.

Chef, I understand not wanting to lock the front IFS. I've seen your thread, it's like fifty something pages long now... WOW. You are really gettin' in deep.
toyota4x4907, ya it was almost pink in that picture. Hopefully spraying it sand dune beige this summer.

I think I got a good one. The previous owner obviously took good care of it.

pics of one done might help.... My only concern would be how easily it would rip when rubbed against tree branches or rubbing the color off leaving the white vinyl to show.

i see wraps on cars that dont crawl/offroad start peeling after a year or so. and I'm pretty sure sun kills em too. Wraps are good for stuff like.. drag cars that go do their little thing and get back on the trailer. It also leaves a mess when you decide you dont like it anymore..
