sadly, they don't teach us welding. rather, they acknowledge that it exists. riveting, however, might be another option. rivet guns are fairly cheap (under $100), and i already have a decent compressor. also, rivets are cheap (sold by the pound). i've learned a bunch in class, and feel confident that i could build an aluminum platform.

i'm still waiting for insurance to get back to me about the volvo-dent

north tahoe, Alpine Meadows to be exact. ill have more pics tonight. we have about 4 ft now and were getting about an inch every 30-45 minutes. its snowin like a mofo out here

Hey H-Billy! Yeah, been keeping up with the Tahoe, Kings Canyon and Sierra areas. Also looks like we got a lil more up here in the Angeles Crest! .....means more fresh ice melt come spring Campin time!

Tahoe is B-E-A-UUUUUUUTIFUL MAN! Love every bit of the wilderness from here to there, east and west and north of you as well... all gorgeous! Stay dry and warm, man!

yea man! its definitely a beautiful place up here. thanks man, i gotta work outside so it can be tough to stay warm and dry haha.

ok so more pics as promised-

This was this morning before i cleared it off



the rest of these pics were taken tonight. showing how wide the roads are currently. also, the snow was about a foot deep on the road, and my baby powered right through it as usual













and my deck as of tonight-about 4.5 ft now

i wish i could go skiing. thats the one thing that sucks about my job is everytime it snows, i gotta work. but its real light snow, you should come up and ski, it would be awesome skiing
