It's an ARB. I have had it for ten years! Only thing is........no winch There have been plenty of times when this could have saved me.

Hey bud, ...yeah, it's running, great, actually, lol. My problems always seem to be some freak this or that! hahaha.

Thanks for the well'wishin bro, .... back atcha! BTW, just curious..... is it misfiring a lil? Not saying it sounds bad, not at all.... sounds SICK! lol. Just hear a bit of "pup-pupupup-pup" when you're letting off the gas. Curious is all.

The round ones are better due to less packing. If your truck is pre 80's or not fuel injected, I'd go with flowmaster, but if not it's going to sound horrible, or "just not right". Make sure the highflow cat is installed correctly cause its not a universal flow like their other cats. Something else to consider is your exhaust size, engine size and rated HP output of the stock motor and where you want it to be in the future. PM me if your not set on what to buy or can't make up your mind, I'll do a little research and point you in the right direction with some part numbers to get you into the ballpark of sound and performance. Well what you can get on performance that is...If you're running the 22re you can afford to lose some backpressure and either enlarge your exhaust, and/or cut it shorter. If you have the 3.0 you'll need the back pressure so you don't kill the engine prematurely.

I'll help you guys out if ya want, just PM me some info and your ideas. Thanks for the props on the sound of my truck too, I'm going to be changing the design of the piping and muffler(s) to gain more HP but quiet it down a little, just a little.

No, no misfiring at all. Since Toyota designed the 3.0 to run on the rich side (possibly the 22re as well) the unburned fuel leaving the cylinder is igniting while in the exhaust manifold before it gets to the cat and it creates a burbling sound under 1,750 RPM on the 3.0. you have to play with the throttle as you drive at or below that RPM to get the sound. Everybody'd heard of an engine backfiring, but this is more of an afterfire, and is not detrimental to a stock engine like a backfire is because you're not trying to force burning gasses where their not supposed to go. You can hear these noises and different ones depending on how you design your exhaust and what you want to achieve out of it. The richer the engine runs the more burbling you'll hear, the leaner...you get the idea. When/if I port or open up my induction side of the engine, this will effectively lean out the mixture due to more air and there will be a little less burble and a little more performance.
