Ask and you shall receive! I wouldn't recommend pulling this load with the FJ. It's over the factory recommended limit, not safe, blah blah blah. I didn't have any issues keeping it at 60, kept to the right lane as much as possible and had a constant eye on all my FJ vital information. If you aren't willing to be 100% concentrated on the task at hand, don't pull this load with an FJ. My girlfriend got kinda mad since I basically ignored her for the whole 280 mile drive. Oops.

A TOY towing a sweet TOY! lol.. Love it! Nice rig, great find, and welcome to Yotatech. Stop in my or many others build threads to find TONS of interesting and common mild mod-lift-lilmorepower-lighting and so on 'tricks', lol. WABFAB, Marlin Crawler, Engnbldr.com and many other GREAT resources on here for EVERYTHING you need.

Yeah, it does look sweet in those pictures. It rode well and the 1GR-FE is definitely a strong towing motor. It's clear that the FJ is too light and has too short of a wheelbase for a load that heavy. The 4Runner had fun trying to be the boss of which lane we would be riding in a few times.

The 4Runner is super clean! It's basically a one owner rig since the guy I got it from never titled it to himself. He thought all it needed was a new head but then realized the problem was bottom end and didn't want to mess with it. 245,000 miles all from one owner! Oh, but it has ALL RED interior

I love Toyotas!

it is a little taxing but I tow my 86 4runner with my 05 Tacoma all the time and it does just fine. The 4.0 has plenty of power for the job, the trick is havng a good trailer with good trailer brakes to get it to stop.

Yeah, I had an 07 tacoma for a few months. (Didn't want to deal with the throwout bearing bull S**T so I dumped it. But they have the longer wheel base and a slightly higher tow rating (by 1500 lbs) so I'm sure the tacoma would handle it better.

My Tacoma is a long bed with an auto trans, I think the long wheel base helps alot. Also set the truck up best I could for towing, brake controller & firestone load leveling air bags. It tows great, just gets really bad gas mileage.
