Should have posted this a while back, but I haven't been doing much thanks to the 450 degree weather we have been having this summer.

So to get everyone up to speed.....Started with this

A 1986, interior was hosed, had a crapload of rust on the body, in the usual places around the wheel wells and such but really bad around the pillars and roof. The chassis and engine and such were in okay condition. Got it for a song - $350, so I can't complain.

I stumbled across this

An 87 with a very clean body (with the exception of a couple "ooops" wrinkles in the back corner), Interior was in great shape. No motor or Transmission, but I already had that in the 86. The chassis was in poor shape, so I decided to do a body swap. Finally got it done, here are a couple of those pics....

I sold the white 86 for exactly what I bought it for. I got all the little parts and pieces off it that I needed, sold the wheels and tires that came on it and basically sold it as a rolling chassis. I came out waaay ahead on that one, but all that will go away when I dive into the 87.

The silver bullet needs some work before I can take it around the block, much less on the trails. I'll get to that when it cools off a bit more.....and when I have a bit more denero.
