I dont care so much with my trucks, but im picky about my bike. Have to be careful not to spill gas with thoes, real easy to mess the tank paint up. And most of the self services place respect that.

quick google search came up with this

"The ban on self-service gas stations is a highly combustible issue and makes for some heated debates. New Jersey passed the law making it illegal to pump your own gas in 1949. At the time, legislators felt it was too dangerous to have untrained people dispensing such a flammable liquid. "

Yeah, but it's been more of a 'Big Brother' thing in the last few decades... More about "Provides Jobs", etc., ....how's that working out for OR? .....

Maybe Cristy will clean up that swamp, too, eh? lol.

PS> If you have Handicap Stickers or Placard, it's MANDITORY for the station to pump you gas for Self Serve Rates(for other states info, lol).... "IF, mind you, there is more than one attendant on hand at the station".

They have what I'm guessing is this kinda mud near Hot Creek in Mammoth Lakes, CA... IT'S LIKE VASELINE, literally! Slimiest stuff I've ever seen. You can't even walk on traces of it without floating all over...literally like grease!

Stuck. The damage was caused by trying to drove foward and ramming into the other side of the bank.

I towed a 1986 Toyota MR2 three hours with my 22R-E and that was with me 150 lbs. my buddy, 280 lbs. and 200 lbs. of tools in the bed WITH 31's!

I was able to cruise at 70 mph without much problem. Any hills required fourth gear. And by hills I mean any slight grade in the pavement lol!

You should be fine!

Yeah, this was some slimy stuff. It clogged up my tires and all I could do was spin them. My buddy fell into it ass first, damn it was funny! Took almost 20 minutes to get out (The truck that is!), but it was worth making my friend ride home in the bed. Just think about how funny it is to have someone in the bed when you pull onto the road and start slinging dirt and mud out of the tires as you pick up speed lol!

Hey Teuf... she's lookin better, eh? lol. Yeah, well, on those tires I just removed, I bough them with 156K on the motor..... I now have 260K... So, 104K and they still had some tread on them, no uneven wearing and no even NEAR bald spots. Not bad, eh? That's why I got another set!!! Well, that and, honestly?? ...they never really got me stuck anywhere. I am a 'creeper' when it comes to wheeling, other than the occasional mud bath or creek flash... I love em! Hopefully, when I'm done with some other things I'd like to do first, ...I'll get a set of Guard Dogs or something. Keeping my eyes open for a set of cheap, 8" rims! My Buddy who owns the tire shop said he'd give me outlaw 2's for 80$ a piece out the door, (15x8's).

Yeah Ive got my 32 inch Swampers, and a set of Cooper Discoverer ATR 235/75/15's on American racing wheels. The 235's make long highway trips more bearable. Its actually really nice having two good sets of wheels and tires. That and my mud tires will last alot longer that way.
