I'm going with a stinger bumper kit from frontier4x4. http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=795834

Rock assault install was cake compared to the work I put in with moving the front hanger forward an inch. Pretty much redid the work I did with the original swap, but at least the axle sits where I want it now. Also had to grind my calipers to fit the wheels since there's no need to run 1.5" wheel spacers to match the rear. Rock assault housing is 3" wider.

The tube doors are from 4xinnovations. They just recently redid the latch system on them I think. http://www.4xinnovations.com/pages/guarding/doors.htm

39.5's are going on whenever I can find a smoking deal on 39.5x13 iroks and sell my 37's. Probably not any time soon.
With the housing being 3" wider, were you able to use the same axle shafts? Man, when you said 4ds would fit no problem, I thought you were about to put some on!

A longer axle shaft is included with the housing. Only one side is made longer to make up the width, diff is a little offset.

that is perfect i'd love to have a lil 2wd yota with a long flatbed for hauling metal back from the scrap yards, large parts, and chillin

Got a new Chrome Bumper Face and Passenger End cap and Extension all for 168$ Wanted to TG bumper, for 338$ w/Shipping and Tax Included...but then I'd need the side supports, being a 4Runner, for another 40$ Plus Tax and Shipping. THEN, I'd HAVE to get the TG front bumper, as well, for another 400$ plus shipping and handling and whatever extra $ for the special recommended bracket....ET CETERA, lol.. And being a lil tight, I figured, ...what the heck, I'll put that saved 800$ into other things right now,lol... But SOME DAY, I might just splurge and buy those bumpers front and rear! lol

Of course, it took quite a bit of pounding and bending back of the old original brackets, prying back the end cap mounts, spacing the passenger side bracket/to underbody out with a home made spacer/washer, ...but I think I got it pretty straight!

Thanks, Yota86!

I was amazed when i stood back how much of a difference it makes, lol. Plus, many guys on here, as I kept working on new things, were razzin me, lol...."Looks great.....so WHAT ABOUT THAT HIDEOUS BUMPER!?!?!?!?!" HAHAHA.

So it was time. Actually, the truck was like this .........WHEN I BOUGHT IT, 8 years ago! lol. It was like this so long that the crown stud fell out of the end cap and the extension permanently bent like the before pics, and was shredding the thread holes in a couple places on itself, haha. Got those end pieces for 54$ W/TAX, out the door, for both.. Pretty good.

well i know for a fact by numbers i ran 36x15.50x16 mickey t's for two weeks on my 94 yota with nuthen but a 3 inch body lift. before i shaved about 1/2 inch off the bottom corner of the front bumper and about 3/4 inch clearance at the back of the fenders, it rubbed lock to lock. and it had absolutely no balls at all drivin, so i put my 33x12.50s back on.

man it looked hella sweet. i loved the way it look, but it had absolutely NO power, im sure if i could get the speedometer to 55 it would get hella great gas mileage too! LOL. i had some pictures on this forum of it i thought. ill have to find some, i know i have some pictures of it. oh, and any kind of suspension flex was a NO-NO. they would rub terribly everywhere then

HMMMMM, well, 54$ is for JUST the end Cap and Extension... But most Ebay guys want 50$ for both, ...USED!(Can't get tha t longer extension any longer 'aftermarket'... gotta get them used or OEM, so for 28 each at the dealer, ...why not? It's actually cheaper than if I paid 50$ for both, used, then had to pay for shipping, lol). The faceplate, through discountbodyparts wound up being 112$ total with shipping when I complained about the shipping enough, lol. They guy gave me his 15% off the discounted price. So i basically got shipping for free! lol. Yeah, I really love having a straight one on there. It kinda 'completes the package', ya know? Plus, no more razzing from my yotatech homies, lol. I had a step bumper on the last 4runner I had(86), but it would sometimes get mangled when bottoming out while wheeling(they seem to hang quite a bit lower than the 'straight-face' bumpers).
