ive read this whole post and have been waiting to get my springs before i put pics up.
here's mine a lil bit after i got it

just had to make it look better.

mudd is the best and cheapest paint job=)
after the mud got a chance to soak in, as u can see my springs r crap the actually had an under arc.

some flex before i installed the coils

so i bought a pair of mid 80's jeep coils and suffed them in the back. i couldnt wait a couple of days to use a lift so i used this to lift the back end up.

tht ratchet strap was tight, the pics were after finishing. and the trailer jack still wasnt enough, i had to use a couple more ratchet straps to compress the springs to get them in.
but it was worth it.

and here's sum of my bumpers=)

and some flex after the coils

Woah! Those were some saggy springs, looks like those coils did the trick for you. Whats with the pink trike and the swing set chains on your bumpers?

the pink and purle trick is a big wheel tht is used to ride down steep hills with. and the old safety chains are to grab on to while doing stupid stuff

I always wondered why Toyota put those there. Seems like it'd be a good way to cause rust. I thought about removing them myself, just gotta figure something out with those plastic things stickin out under them...

Well I hope all the dad's had a great weekend. on my end I got home from the NorCal Off Road Expedition and found out that my wife had planned to take me camping/ fishing for fathers day. We also had my dad and his gf along. I have a great wife So while we never got on the water before 8am to do any real fishing, we did do a little scenic tour with my dad and his gf on his boat. Saturday while every one else wanted a nap I went for a drive. I got to see some pretty cool stuff so i thought I would share.

yeah, mine aren't going back on. i think i'm going to just fix the rust there and weld in some clean metal then i'm going to attempt to just put bondo over the whole spot since i'm putting herculiner over it anyways i shouldn't need the stupid things.. if anyone has these i would recommend taking them off and cleaning inside them whenever you wash your truck.
