i got a rigged 4 inch bl on mine as well, i bought it that way, im gonna be putting an inch and a half lift on it just for a lil more articulation

Yep...yesterday I checked my friend's '87 sitting in his yard and it's also a rear sliding. It's a safe bet that my '86 also had a rear sliding but was replaced with a solid at some point. Either way, like I said above I prefer a solid rear glass anyway so no complaints here.

no i never brought the front axle up, its actually that crummy ifs.

yea it does pretty good but its got a carb on it and i almost got out of that spot there until the carb decided to not get gas. we bent my hitch to get me out haha

I had a 1986 Pickup SR5 and it came with a solid rear window with defrost. Even had the factory defrost switch with it.
