Picture of a 4" lift on a 4runner?
I just bought a 4" lift for my 4runner. Trailmaster front, and LC coils rear. I have searched with no luck and I was just wondering if anybody had a picture of one with that hight, preferably with no Body Lift? I just want to get a glimpse of what it will look like! And also what size tires are you guys running, what can they fit?

Does it rub at all? Do you think i could get away with 35's by just removing the lower part of the front bumper? Or do you think i should just stick with 33's?
Also will it sit pretty level with the LC coils in the rear? Thanks a bunch

You will have a bigger issue with the tire rubbing the firewall than the front valance. I always take the valance off every Toy I get because it seems to be the first thing to see a rock on a wheeling adventure.

Yea, im thinking ill just stick to 33's. Then with me not regearing, at least right away, it won't be too horrible. It does look awesome with 35's though

BTW does anybody make a marlin crawler style bumper for the runners with the swing out? or do you just cut it an make it fit? I really like those bumpers, and i guess it would be a benefit not hitting my tow hitch and bumper on everything

As for the valance I took it off because I built a front bumper fopr this and needed to test fit but if stuffed it would have a bit of a rub so in the end it was needing to come off.
33's are very cool only 1/2 differace between 35's and 33's as for clearance also make sure your backspacing on the rims is 3.75" and 33's will stuff better without the bj spacers which I will be adding next for 2 reason
1.150lb bumper
2.80lb winch
that should bring everything back to the point it is now and I should gain some upward travel.

Okay i bought my front setup for the trailmaster lift, and then i also got some Landcruiser coils off a 93 i think.
Anyways, the shocks that came with the lift are shot, so if i took the stock size rancho 9000's off the rear, would those be able to go up front with the 4" lift?
Also what would be a good shock for the rear with the landcruiser coils?
I measured the coils one is 18 3/4" and the other is just above 19" does that sound about right for the cruiser coils? I know the slightly longer one will go on the gastank side. How much do you think those would lift it?

NO you need to replace them As for shocks go with the next size up from recomended set for less chance of bottoming them out had to do mine that way
Try talking with someone at 4wheelpartsand explain your lift size to them and ask for the next size up they also have there Pro comp shocks in sets for 150 iirc for the set with steering stabilizer.
You will also need a panhard extender for the rear level the abs sensor and extened brakeline all the way around should have them in the kit for front if its a new kit

No i bought it as a used kit so i still have to get longer brake lines, panhard bracket, new control arm bushings, wheels and tires, shocks, and i am looking to get a non-add shift tube assembly, I might end up replacing the balljoints while it is disassembled.
I am purchasing new shocks, actually ordered them yesterday but today the guy called me and wanted me to measure my extended and compressed lenghts now and just add 4" to both measurements to get the right shocks.
I am getting rancho 9000's again (all 4 for $260), i just wanted to know if anybody knows the lengths and/or model numbers for what size i need with the lift on? Please help! Thanks

That looks Good!!!!! I Can't wait till i get mine on. The only difference really is i took off the running boards and chrome around the wheelwells and i purchase some black steelies.

Here's mine with Pro Comp 4' Lift. Tires are 33/13.5/R15. I do have a problem with tire rubbing. But, That could have alot to do with the tires being 13.5's. I installed 1.25' wheel spacers the other which cut the rubbing down alot. Basically got the frame to stop rubbing. But still have a problem with it rubbing the rear of the fender.
