Pick me a front bumper!
I am going to order a tubular winch bumper sometime this week. Which one is best in terms or strength/durability/looks? I am thinking of the marlin crawler. I like wabfab's, but I'm not real big on stingers. What advantage does the stinger offer? I would search for suggestions/pics, but I am going to sleep now. Thanks.

I think just about any of them will do. I went with the Marlin Crawler on the front (no stinger because I HATE the way they look) and have beat the mess out of it with no issues. I think the stinger is for tall verticle climbs where you can't get a tire up due to limited approach area. I could be wrong on that one though.

no no no.. you got it all wrong.
The stingers purpose is to protect the hood from getting dented when you roll your truck. Ive been told that before though.
I have the TG bumper and i like it, for a while i thought i wouldn't like the stinger though, but it grew on me.

In terms of looks, I really like the ones from Addicted Offroad. The thing I don't like about the TG front bumpers is how they block the headlights.
Regarding strength, I'm sure they all hold up just fine.

after debating with myself for a while I went with skys sheet metal bumper, i think its only 20 pounds heavier than marlins but has plenty O space to set your beer and wrenches, sick angles too.

I run Marlin's rear bumper and would run their front in a second if I wasn't after something else. IMO Marlin is someone I want to support adn TG isn't... ADddicted's bumper IMO is way to heavy for a tube bumper adn I really don't care for the looks, but that's all subjective.
I LOVE Badlands bumopers but again, for that kind of weight I would just run an ARB. I want a tube hoop, but I want a flat deck bumper. Sky's to me looks to be a winner, but the weight might change my mind.
Cheers

yeah I hear you on that, the design factor "outweighed" the weight for me. blinker lights are something else to think about where you will put them. Im thinking about shoving my bulb in the top corner light to make it a two in one
