Well on the tailgate there is a name and a phone number, someone signed this job after they painted it!! The whole job looks like acrylic paint that was applied with a sponge. Ill take some close ups tomorrow as it is dark now!! and you will see!!

You know its not the pink stripes that are bothering me...like someone said on my build up thread:

Or you could just paint the whole thing pink..

I would do that...pink and black!! That would be STHUPER!!! But I would need more motivation than a dollar to do it!!!

Like...I dont know...someone paying to have the truck painted, and a little extra on the side for pain and suffering!!

Haha, seriously though, I dont know what I should do?? I dont know whether to keep it like it is, herculine/paint rockers, hercluine/paint whole truck, or just paint the truck!!

I'd either leave it (like others have said, kinda ironic) or line-x/hurculine/etc the rockers.

If you want it to last, spend the ~$100 for Herculiner.

If you just want to get rid of it, blast it with some rubberized liner or whatever it's called. My brother used that on his Cherokee fenders and is not that happy with it though...

I was reading a while back about this paint applied with a roller then it levels itself out and when buffed turned out real nice, and was super sturdy. I think a link was here or pirate then linked to a hot rod site. I have it saved at work I believe. I'll look.

wet sand it off with some 1500 gritt & then buff it out. Maybe it will look OK.
