o you will haha. you have better prices down there up here a bfg A/T is like 240 a tire lol my DC muds were 210 a tire and that was a good deal lol. i like my DC by the way, they ride nice on the street and are great offroad so far, i would recomend them to anyone . imgaine when we start running 35''s and bigger $$$$ lol or at least when i do lol just a money pit

Im never gonna go with bigger tires than a 33... Im just gonna get 33s and regear and call it good foreva... SAS doesn't appeal to me, and I would never run 35s on a IFS.

well i would never go bigger than 33's on ifs. you are safe at thats size but 35"s are going to wear everything more and them cv's aren't that strong with 35's and up from what i have head. Mak92 for what you have 33"s and a slight lift would be perfect! i wouldn't go any bigger on a ifs 4runner like yours ether.
i want 36"s and sas because i honestly wouldn't feal safe up high with ifs. i want the height and ground clearance you get from big ass tires and articulation from sas . beastly beast my yotee will be lol

iam running on my dd 33-10.50x16 TSL radials,i have a Tacoma w/ 3.5 lift and they ride pretty good,i balanced mine myself at the shop and low speed is a little rough but nothing to cry about.

and just to let you know BackGateYota...wide 33's will do more damage than a 35x12.50...these guys are nuts LMAO..LOTS of people run 35's on IFS..im going to run 35's eventually..(offroad only..i'll have 33's for the street)..theres even some guys running 36's and 38's on their IFS rigs..
strength comparison..i've heard a STOCK solid axle is about as strong as STOCK ifs...the only strength advantage of the solid axle is that you can upgrade the axles and such..with IFS you can't really make it much stronger (with the exception of some LT kits i believe)

like i said guys it's just what i've heard...and i've never seen anybody do a SAS with a STOCK axle...they always beef it up....ALWAYS...i mean why wouldn't ya..it'd be stupid to put a stock one under there lol
and most people do an SAS or have a solid axle rig because of the articulation..not many people do it JUST for the strength of a built axle.
theres one guy on here that bought his black 3rd gen ext cab pickup with like 7 or 8" of lift and either 37's or 38's..and he was reallllyyy hard on it..and said he has no problems..and he has a buddy with an almost identical rig that he's even harder on..
alot of guys on here are harder on their IFS rigs than the solid axle guys...IFS has it's limits FOR SURE....but so does a STOCK toyota solid axle

hey im one of those stupid guys with a stock axle. - the high steer and 5:29's.. thats how i know that stock vs stock a sa is stronger.
your right its better to beef it up all the way the first time, but i never have all the money to do it at once lol so for me its a work in progress. plus i dont mind tinkering on it .
i sas'd because i was tired of breaking ring n pinions / spider gears /. plus i wanted to step up from the 35's to 37's, so the articulation was just an added bonus for me

well camo you are right people run 35"s up to 39"s on ifs but be realistic here. we all know that ifs can run those tires but it's not that reliable because you cant upgrade ifs much to handle the big tires and lockers right? i haven't broke a cv and wont because i dont run big tires and the cv's were made for 30's and 31's so they handle them fine. but once you start running 35's and up all i hear is how people break cv's. same goes for a stock sfa, it has week birfs but the difference is YOU CAN CHANGE THIS!!! your tired of breaking axles do a sfa swap and get some longs. done fixed run 40"s and it will be hard to break them. more things you can do with a sfa and why not do a sas, articulation, strength, looks whay better imo. nobody is saying you cant run 35's and up with ifs here we know you can but you dont whine when you are breaking ring gears and cv's.
