well i went and got it back. I told them that they eitherneed to give me my 420 bucks back since they didnt diagnose it or that if it breaks again they have to pay the towing to take it back to the shop. I just got a code 71 though, dont have the time to check it though

Sucks it is still not 100%. we are replacing the injectors today. Had the ones for the 88' in it and apparently that is the only year that will not work with the computer in my 92' also checking the harness while I have plenum off. wish me luck. Hope you get your working soon.. must be driving you nuts.

Yeah i hate not being able to trust it. but so far i have had no problems and its been like 4 days. Knock on wood! Ill keep yall posted if it breaks again.

And thats weird that they made one year that wont work. Yeah probably worth unwrapping it and checking it out really nice then rewrap it better than before. Hope it all works out for you.

Well...it has been a while since I have been on, and sorry to say that my switching the injectors did not work.. put new gas in it, changed the injectors and the plugs to the ones for the 92 and still does the exact same things, starts and then dies.... really sucks.. I don't want to bring it in to the toyota dealer... but I am at my witts end. I am wondering though if anyone out there knows if this will start if those sensors in the back are broke? I am wondering if maybe I should just replace all the sensors with the correct ones for the 92? Is your truck still running?

Truck is fixed! Hopefully for good this time. It was the wiring harness. Just didnt want to leave anyone hanging or if people search it out here it is. Good luck to anyone else with this or a similar problem.
