You don't want the hd springs. They will be very harsh. I have the mediums/regular 2" ones and with a 1000lb load in the bed the truck sits more level than it did before I put the new leaves in.
You mention a block - I would remove it when you put the new leafs in. When I did mine, I just replaced the leafs and everything else was stock (even the shacks) - the truck had a pretty strong rake to it until I put the bj spacers in there and leveled it out. Actually, I chose not to make it completely level and left maybe a slight rake so that when something is in the bed it sits level.

wow 1000lbs in a yota!! you puttin that bad boy to the test ha. i carry roughly 500 at the very most. so i guess the mediums will be perfect. the reason for the block is that the front of my truck has a procomp lift, bj spacers, and downey torsions (which i might end up pulling out and replace with stock torsions). with no tb crank. so ill need the block to make up the difference in the rear.
