any one have any good ideas for a rear lift for a 93 PU.. i have 2 inch add a leaf i havent put in yet but going even higher in the front than i am now. so i would like to get a set of lift springs anyone know of a good 4 to 5 inch lift spring? i would like to have a BOLT IN kit. i would rather not weld in new mounting points just trust the stock welds on the stock mounting points anyone with any info would be helpful thanks.

The Blazeland Long Arm design all ready incorporates a ball joint space in the UCA Extension Bracket, so stacking additional ball joint spacers in the geometry would be unwise. Doubling up will cause too much droop- the ball joints, tie rod ends, and CV axles will bind. The Blazeland ride height is set to be approx. 3" higher than stock because of component limitations. To get additional lift, you will need to utilize design methods similar to those used in "Drop Bracket" lift kits.
The add-a-leafs you spoke of will get you fairly close to match the front of a Blazeland LT. You might want to get the other 1" of lift in the rear with a longer shackle. FYI- the add-a-leafs are going to be firm. A deaver Mini-Pack is a better way to improve performance of a stock spring.
For a brand new 3-4" lift leaf springs try Northwest Offroad. Also look into Superlift, Pro-Comp, Trailmaster, etc.
Hope that answers some of your questions.

I easily fit 32's on my stock suspension, and now I have loads of room with a 3" lift.
You can lose a lot of clearance if your rear end sags and your tbars are adjusted to keep it level....

Stuffing 33's no lift. The rear drivers side was hit at one time so the bumper was a bit close to the tire, the pass side didn't get that close.
This is how it sat with 35's and LC coils with the front stock.

hey all. thank god i dont have to resurrect this thread. its still pretty fresh!
i am at TOTAL newb status BUT im going to try my hardest to avoid making this a "what do i do?__what is best?__how should i?__etc" kind of post
i really feel like ive searched all the searches a searcher can search and i feel like i need some *clarification* if nothing else, just to be sure i have it all straight
this all pertains to my interest in my new 1986 PICK UP
so ive gathered that there are 2 options for an IFS lift
A. ball joint spacers as offered by wabfab
B. control arm mods as offered by blazeland
both types call for an add-a-leaf or block spacer to level the rear
new, beefed up aftermarket torsion bars are a good investment in lifting an IFS system
is this all correct and am i not missing anything?
question:
1. what advantage does one have over the other? better ride? performance? longevity?
2. from a lot of descriptions addaleaf or blocks are all that is needed to level out the rear
but trail gear offers this
http://www.trail-gear.com/rear-lift-kits
which has all sorts of fun looking junk in it but the description says "Our rear lift kits are designed to match our front IFS Eliminator kits and classic lift kits"
does that imply that this kit is not for a regular old IFS BJ spacer/control arm lift?
3. what advantages/disadvantages are there to choosing blocks vs. addaleaf? i have only come across a comment that for offroading blocks are not good. truth?
(ok i admit that is one question i have NOT re/searched before asking )
thank you so much for the time

ok, I'm going to ask here instead of starting a new thread...
Will a 33x10.50 tire fit on the factory spare tire carrier under the bed of a pickup? I want to know before I buy a new spare tire crank thing.
I've haven't seen any comments about that in other threads. I'm going to buy 5 tires since 33x10.50s are generally special order.
If I've missed this info somewhere, please rub my nose in it.
