Question New to the truck game

okay so ive had my 93 toyota pickup extra cab for about 6 months now and the tires it came with are finally wearing out.. looking for advice on a cost efficient setup to get me a little more clearance. im planning on getting 31's but not sure what shocks and how much of a lift is good so i dont lose too much power.

thanks for the comments in advance!

Hmmm...don't know why you'd put a lift on a 2wd..unless you're wanting to make it into a prerunner...both mine and redfish' are 4x4

got my truck from original owner for like 200 bucks and some work, he bought it brand new and babied it. had 157k miles. not trying to crazy off road right now just some more clearance and tires for traction. looks too cuz im in the city
