New owner (again). Have a few questions though.
I just got my new to me 92 white extended cab 4X4 home. Its a 3.0 with a 5-speed. Will get pics tomorrow when its light out.
I do have some questions though.
1. I noticed that the dome light doesnt work. so, I changed the bulb and it didnt work. So, I looked at the fuse and it was not in. So, I put a fuse in and when I did that, the tail lights and the corner lights on the front came on and stayed on. Anyone seen this before? I have no idea what would cause that.
2. Well, now I cant think of my other question. Ill ask that it when I think of it.

i don't know enough about the electrical systems to actually give you some help, but here in canada those lights are always on if ignition switch in on, its the daytime runing lights, rearlights front lights and marker/parking lights

the lights were off. the key was not in it. i just put the fuse in and the dome light and the running lights came on. so youre saying that the light switch might be bad? where is that located?

the light switch is on the end of turn signal lever. rotate the switch one click and the running lights come on, two clicks turns the head lights on. pull it towards the steering wheel for 'passing' lights, all the way forward for high beams.
when you close the door, does the dome light go off?

im not sure if the dome light goes off when the door is closed. it does if i turn ot off on the switch on the light. i had the doors open while messing with it and didnt think to check that. i too thought that one click on the switch was running lights and then one more was the headlights. is there something in that switch that could be broken or sticking on?
