I am a student right now at the South Dakota School of Mines and Tech. in Rapid City South Dakota.
I love Toyota's and have been wrenchin on them for about 6-7 years now and I hope I can use my knowledge and experience to be a help on the forum here. I also hope to learn alot more from everyone else here on the forum. If anyone is from were I am from give me a shout so we can go wheelin and talk about what year of ecu will give you the best power out of a 22re or why the power steering cap says Toyoda instead of Toyota.
You know, stuff the wives just dont understand.

Welcome to the Jungle broski -
Like the truck, I have an 89 too! I have a couple questions for you -
1. I like that all black OEM bumper, and was wondering if you got it that way or painted it, if you got it that way how much was it?
2. The grille guard you have is pretty cool, and I would like to know the brand and cost on that as well.
Thanks for your time and consideration.

The all black bumper is oem it was on the truck from the factory. I have had another 89 that had the same color bumper and i think it is a standerd color that came on the base base models, like the only added option was the 4wheel drive base model.
The grill gaurd i have no clue it came on the truck when i bought it. I dont think its toyota specific though cause the way it is mounted is pretty ghetto fab. I figure ille just beat the frick out of it till it falls off.
