Man I stripped my 3.0 and tried to transfer everything to my 3.4. Nothing matches up except for engine mounts/alternator, and clutch >.<. It's about to get fun. Lol. My timing belt/water pump kit is showing up this week. Stoked. And I'm returning my 3.0 core tomorrow. Going through this a little slower than I hoped but ill get there?

Awesome man, thanks for the advice. I'm gunna look around on here see if i cant do the leak down test myself. This 88 yota is cleaner than any other i've ever had. I'm sure with the 315k miles its had a head gasket replaced before but no telling. If i can't get it done myself, ill talk to my mechanic see if he cant run a test for me, i'll let you know what comes up.
Man! I'd LOVE a 3.4 swap! Better yet, I'd love a 3RZ swap!!!

At this point you might want to start a new thread in the 3.4 swap forum (or have this thread moved), as it is now, there's no indication it's 3.4 swap related and a lot of the guys that have done the swap are probably overlooking this thread.

That said, I agree with Austin, what pan, baffle, dipstick, etc are you using and what specifically isn't matching up?

My alternator braket, starter, and engine lifting hooks don't match up, nor do the side brackets that connect to my tranny. My flywheel and clutch fits tho.
And good idea I'm gonna start a thread there better that way. And ya I gotta move the dip stick to the back. Just got my t100 oil pan baffle and pick up yesterday :-D. Stoked. So hoping to throw that on tomorrow as well as the timing belt/water pump if the dang thing shows up. Also getting my new pilot bearing tomorrow. I think I can get it out with the grease truck but getting it in I still need to read up on. Ill shoot a URL to the new thread when I post it.
