Needing help

I’m looking for this piece. I broke the connector by my finger going to it and don’t know what it is called to try to find another one. It’s on a 1994 3vze 3.0

Try searching for 3VZE sensor block. You'll find posts like this.

Cheers!

It's usually called the Thermal Vacuum Valve or the Bi-Metallic Switching Valve. The reference jgrant721 provided will give you more details.

Several on this site have (claimed to) repaired these, but it's tricky. The part is in a hellish environment and the plastic just turns crumbly.

The part is 90925-05047 https://parts.lakelandtoyota.com/p/T...092505047.html Napa carries an aftermarket part for somewhat less. https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/CRB21180 I have no experience with the Napa part.

I successfully did mine with short pieces of brake line and epoxy. There’s no real downside to trying. If the repair fails, a new one is a mouse click away.
