Need new seats
I have an 86 toyota pickup Xtra cab 4wd 5speed is not SR5. I am not the original owner so I have no idea what kind ofor seats came in it. Right now it has 2 bucket seats that look like they came out of a old 4runner and possible a center console that came outo of a sr5 model or a 4runner,not sure. however they are worn out bad especially the driver seat. 3 of the bolt holes are lined up and the 4th is not bolted down on either seat. The interior is in kind of bad shape so I'm looking to restore it, but I don't know if it had a bench seat or different bucket seats or what. Need to know what kind of seat will fit?

Most Toyota seats from a 4runner/pickup will bolt right up. Toyota trucks had both split bench and bucket seat options I've seen. Other vehicle seats can be installed but may require minor fabrication to make them bolt in correctly - for example going from a bench to buckets may require additional mounts since the bench only bolted on the outer sides, or bolting in a seat from a different manufacturer might need some adapters to bolt into existing holes.
Pics of what you have may help.
Good luck and welcome to YT!

It has buckets in it now and 3 bolt holes line up and are bolted down but there is a 4th hole which if it's the driver seat it would be the back right hand side bolt hole that is about 2 inches off. And from what you said they came with either a split bench or buckets. If it did come with a split bench then the small center console doesmt go it in. I'll post some pictures as soon as I can.

When i put sr5 seets in my 84 pickup i was only able to direct bolt 3bolts in it. The inner rears on both sides did not line up. I would guess if you have the same problem then it was probably also a bench seat originally.

Yea that may be the problem cause mine isn't an sr5 and the back inner holes don't line up. I'm going to go to a junk yard where this guy has a load of old Toyota and see what I can find. But I'll take some pics tomorrow so I can show what I'm working with.
