Need help identifying this part (3vze)

couldn't figure out how to post a picture, so just click the link. hard to see, but my screwdriver is pointing to it. its located directly behind the fuel pulsation damper on the lower intake manifold. it has two vacuum ports with two vacuum lines going into it, and it screws into the intake manifold like a coolant temp sensor would. i'm assuming its some kind of vacuum switching valve. it's either been broken, or somehow i broke both of the vacuum ports off when removing the upper intake to do valve covers and search for a fuel leak (the pulsation damper is leaking). anywho, i need to know the correct name for this thing so i can order one and get back on the road, thanks!!

hey thanks bud!! i think i'll bypass this for now to get her back on the road and replace it at another time. guess i could have just traced the vacuum lines to see where they went. good to know though, thanks!!

If you "bypass" it, you'll probably get a rough cold idle because you're sucking vacuum-canister fumes into the engine at low temps. If you just plug the vacuum line on the throttle body side, fumes will accumulate in the canister with no where to go, and you'll start smelling fuel on the passenger side.
You may not notice this mid-February, but when it warms up both will be more significant.
Several folks on this forum report successfully fixing the TVV, but I was unable to do it (the plastic was just too crumbly). Yours looks worse than mine, so I'd advise sucking it up and paying the $65 for the part. Sometime before the weather gets hot.
