Legally, if the mother paid you the transaction was between you and her, not the son, SHE gave them to him, NOT you, in the laws eyes.
Now, if you're a hardass like I am, I'd tell them all to go screw themselves and if the Dad showed up to my house I'd just smack him around , thats me, I don't mind trouble and have spent some nights in the clink .
If you're a "nice" guy , you'll give the money back (when the tires are delivered of course) and sell them to someone who really wants them and chalk it up to lesson learned and not do any future business with punk kids!
My guess is you're a nice guy who wants no trouble(nothing wrong with that, good way to be) and you should just get these people behind you.

Yea..im not gonna flip on them. Im TRYING to keep a cool head and be as respectful as I can. Im 19, and most adults would think im trying to scam them. Thats not the case though. I honestly showed him all the damages, and now hes giving me flack about them.
BTW* giving them the money isnt an option ;-)

nope...its the fact that its been over amonth. I GAVE him the tires and it took them two weeks to pay me for them. I have been pretty good to them. Now they want toact like this? Giving the money back isnt an option. People need to grow up, and take responsability for there actions

If you don't have the money then you have very few options here, my guess is you spent it.
Legally your clear, even in small claims it would cost them most likely more than its worth(expenses and time).
I guess it boils down to, can you sleep tonight, do you feel what you did was right, we weren't there, you were.
If you don't mind my asking, what was the exact deal(what tires for what price)?

I feel fine..and i can sleep. This started saturday and ive slept every night since.
The deal was...(5) 36X14X15 WildCountry RVTs. One was brand new, four were about 75%, for $300. Now..thats a pretty good freakin deal if you ask me.

Yah, its a good deal, if they don't like them they can sell them for their money back, sounds like the parents should be yellin' at their kid and not you, I'd sleep fine too!

OO there is a LITTLE more to the story...
Originally I was going to sell them for $200!!! BUT the kid got in an accident in his dads truck(the truck the tires were for) So the kid called and said "i'll give you $300 for the tires"
Come to find out later, the reason he gave me $100 more, was because the kid that hit there truck had to pay for the damage..so they claimed the $300 for the tires.
I DOUBT his parents know that...Seems kind of like fraud of some sort for him to do that...just to get money out of the other kid. Thoughts?

I would tell them to take the tires somewhere else to be installed or put them on craigslist and it is not your problem you told them of the possable probmems the tires had.
also why did you stop using them?

wow, heck of a deal for 5 36" tires! One of my 33" bfg's cost me almost 280. After hearing all these details, I wouldnt even bother with them. Tell them to take you to court over it. Perhaps you could get on one of thoes stupid tv shows where they pay you to go on.

i would tell them to get bent. dont give them there money back and tell them if they dont stop calling you, your going to file a complaint with the police. then i bet they stop all together and if they dont the police will tell all of you what is going to happen.

I would just tell him to come with you to a different tire place and have them mount the tires. Some places wont mount tires that have any defects on the bead just because they are liable if the tire explodes on you.
