don't just throw away your radiator, it's got copper in it so you'll get some bucks for it if you recycle. You'll get more money for it if you take the steel sides off the radiator. With the steel on the sides you'll get a dirty metal price for it.
Use a propane torch to melte the soldier on the sides.

This one from Advance Auto is a CSF if I am not mistaken. Good price too. I was going to go with this one also but my buddy had an aluminum/plastic tank one at is shop for $75. I am also in the "metal" camp when it comes to radiators but for the price, I couldn't go wrong. I saved the one I replaced because it's a brass/copper one that can be rebuilt which I will have done at one point at my buddy's shop. They said they will make it however I want.
The stock radiator in my 96 F350 was an aluminum/plastic tank from the factory. I plowed with that truck and it had 110K miles. I just sold it last year with the original radiator in it. It's all about maintenance -- flushing it out on regular intervals which I did. And I also used additives from here. Been using them for years.

I just bought a $50 one from the local auto parts store. Yes, it has the plastic tanks, but I didn't have the dough for a OEM Toyota one ($500!!!).
So far, it's been good.

My question is my truck is a 1994 and this says its only for years 84 to 90? This should work for my 1994 22re 4x4 truck right? Any opinions are GREATLY appreciated, Thanks

So I finally got the new radiator in. I went with the spectra one from autozone. It works great and has a warranty.
So my question now is that the fan shroud doesn't fit on the new radiator. How important is the fan shroud and any recommendations making it fit or buying a new one?

Th fan shroud is relatively important. It allows for the air to be channeled from the radiator without the fan being mounted RIGHT up against it. WIthout it everything will still work, but I would definitely go back to autozone and get the right radiator.
