Mystery Wire Engine wire connectors

Mystery Wire Engine wire connectors
I just bought a 95 4wd base model pickup. No air conditioning and power nothing. While working on fixing a non functioning dash temperature gauge I found two connector on the engine wiring harness that are not connected anywhere and as far as I can see have no place to be hooked up to. The first connector is up by the ECU temp sender unit and the second is between cylinder 2 and 3 near where the dash temp sending unit is. Are these connectors for other trucks such as ones that have air conditioning or SR5 gauge clusters? Are these supposed to be just taped to the harness and ignored?

Pictures would help. I am guessing you are talking about the 22re? There are a couple of plugs that are not used in some cases. I think on a couple of them it is wiring for an automatic transmission truck. Seems like Toyota had the wiring for both standard or manual transmission in some sections of the harness. You could be talking about something completely different though.
