My Weekend Mods
Slowly but surely i got all the bits and pieces together for the lift on the 4Runner.
Did the 1.5" Ball joint spacer, 80 Series LC coils.
Didn't document the install cause i am pretty sure it is well documented here as well as elsewhere.
But he final product:
Will find a better place for some better pics.
If you have seen the pics from the Nor Cal runs you should notice a nice increase in the stance height. I sure did. Went from 35.5" in the front to around 37.5. 33.5 in the rear to around 38". All pretty much ball park #'s the driveway at Pop's house is under question on its levelness. Will try to get better numbers when i have it aligned.
Also got a CB for Christmas:
Went with the exito the ashtray don't smoko install method.
Worked out pretty good. Now just need to source the antenna bracket from the Local 4x shop and we will be all good. Have thoughts on a fiberglass pocket piece for that one i gave up for the better good.
Got around to doing some little finishing touches to the Sleeper platform:
I think i might do the rest of it time permitting.
My buddy was practicing "Scorched Earth" in his garage ( i.e hardcore clean out) and i got these saved from the dump run tomorrow:
Now i just need to fab up a better mount point instead of the oh s--- handles and we will be all good.
You can thank me later Marko.
All in all a pretty productive weekend, got to get all these little things done before spring.
So what did you do this weekend?????

Very nice! No more rubbing noises...thank god
And I will thank you now, even though I don't know what I am thanking you for
Do you have any news on the Jan run...we're in January and we need something or we're in trouble.
Oh and I really like the color of your drawer now, looks neat!
I'll let you know what I did this weekend in a thread myself if I ever get a chnace. It's definately not as fun as yours tho.

Looks really good man! How did the lift come out without going with new brake lines and panhard drop bracket in the rear? What about rear shocks? Im going for the same lift on mine but have been told that I would need to collect all of these parts before completing it.

reggie, looks good! If you ever have to deliver a baby in there, those foot stirrups will come in handy.
a cheap fix for a longer brake line is to get a standard one and add to your existing one. It is also easy because you only have to undo one side of your existing one.

OK lets dragggg our minds out the gutter..
The last Nor Cal run i had to have Marko add some poundage to the rear tires going up some of the hills. He keep complaining there wasn't anything to hold on to. Something about running him over going up the hill??
But if she looks good and is playful, well.....
Thanks for all the compliments..
Home brew roof basket is up next.....

I ordered the wrong rear shock, going to fab a eye to stem adapter this weekend when Pops gets the welder back.
Still looking for a drop bracket, might possibly try to fad a drop panard bar going to go to steel yard and dig around scrap pile wee what kind of crazy stuff i can find.
so this weekend its brake lines, flush and fill. Oil change synthetic, service tranny. and hopefully get antenna mount in.
Jan trip still open, no one has really taken charge of it. My buddy went up to Sly park this weekend going to look at that. I'm up for some snow one way or the other.

I did a few weekend mods myself. herculined the bed of my 88 4runner, painted my front brushguard and rear bumper.
My images don't work so I will post the link to my pics. They are on pages 2 and 3. Pics on the first page are of the day I got it.

Cruiser coils can be purchased at any of the classified forums. I got mine from ih8mud.com You can purchase the BJ spacers and panhard drop bracket from Roger at 4crawler.com. You can get the brake lines from Brian at wabfab.org. Both of these guys are members here.
