Snow and money have put things on hold for now, at least as far as the SAS goes. Will be doing some little stuff it needs, rewire rollbar lights, cb, and stereo. Might looks for a set of bucket seats for it.

Took a looks at the Yota Monday. Thought I finally figured out what all got bent busted broke when my sister hit the bear, the electrical pole and the fence post. Aside from body parts(Hood, Fenders, Grille, Bumper) also have found that my steering linkage will need to be swapped out and lower control arms replaced if I dont do a straight solid axle swap. Cost wise replacing parts is better way, off road capability is doing solid axle swap. Tore into the Yota yesterday, found that my sister locked up the passenger brakes and dug the pads into the rotors and thats while I was get screeching sound. havent got the controls arms off but they actually looks straight. Ball joints looks busted so need to get new ones.

I remember when I hit a bear back in 2002-03.........good times. Not even close to the damage you sustained though. Should have since I was doing 45mph just outside of quincy, ca. Think its because I had a lift so when i bounced, I got up on him. I just remeber standing on the break and doing a whole mess a cussin. Got a ARB winch bumper out of the deal.
Believe it or not, I was on my way to go bear hunting when I hit him. true story. Sometimes the bear hits you.........

HAHA thats funny Norcal98. Got the bear earlier then expected. My truck has 2" torsion front and shackled rear with 31's for now and the bears head was above the hood. My sister said "Yogi lookded at me!" HAHA I laughed. But did score new cd player from the guy who spooked the bear out of his trash cans. He knows my sister and he asked about the truck and told him and she told him what I was doing and he offered it. Plus my sisters boyfriend is swapping out his seats out of his cavilier for racing seats and said I could have his olds seats

Last year I hit a moose (or the moose hit me- insurance) I hit the rear legs and it kind of sat unto the hood. Still drove it 1000kms although I had to starighten out the ps pulley the best I could. What saved me was I run a elect fan otherwise the rad would have been toast. Anyway the insurance wrote the truck off but allowed me to keep the title- got $2500 for the damage, cost $1000 to fix and get an inspection done. Needed front bumper, grill, hood, the rad actually was straightened, the rad support was pulled forward 1in. Many people get killed hitting big animals- I consider myself very lucky.
