What about Magnaflow? Worth persuing? My buddy had dual magnaflows on his old v8 dakota and he liked em okay but he didn't really have them that long before he got rid of the truck

i'm not sure which model of magnaflow i had (it came on the truck and i sold it on the truck) but i had one on my '83 pickup...it was loud, but not too aggressive sounding. it made the truck sound more like a four cylinder than i really liked. like i said earlier, the 40 really makes it sound pretty aggressive. corey's got a page on here with a bunch of sound clips of different mufflers on different yota's...i'll see if i can find it again and post up a link here. if it were me (and it ain't) i'd go with the 40 just cause its what you got in your head...if you dont go with the 40 and grab something else and are dissatisfied, you will always wonder if the 40 would have been better but because you already spent the money on something else, you will live with the one you put on there. at least with the 40 you'll enjoy the sound (probably give you a perma-grin for a week) and if you absolutely can't stand it, you can always add a short glass pack to the system to quiet it down a touch.

On my computer the clips of Corey's Magnaflow, the Rhino performance, and the Jardine sound pretty similar and sound the most but, not exactly like my truck (3.0 V6, 2.25" custom cat-back with Flowmaster 40, stock routing).

Hope that makes sense and is helpful!

Thanks, fastkevman. Unfortunately, I'll have to wait until later tonight to hear em cause the work computer doesn't have speakers.
