motor acting up
ok well I just rebuilt the top end of my motor. I noticed when my truck is running(which is very crappy) that my efi is XTREMELY FREEZING. what in the world would make it cold? And i mean cold. It is also running rich. any ideas?

so, it seems we will need a picture or this makes no sense.
the biggest EFI part is inside the cab of the truck.
hint: either be more descriptive or post a pic.

if its cold outside the intake can get cold, thats why they run coolant hoses to the throttle body to prevent icing at the throttle plate. what are the temps outside?

it doesn't make sense why it'd be cold. even the thermostat is mounted to the lower intake manifold, so hot coolant from the engine should be warming the manifold up somewhat.
does the radiator get hot when the engine's running?
what type / manufacturer intake manifold gasket(s) did you use?
... or maybe the cold start injector is stuck operating, and the air moving through the manifold is evaporating the fuel, cooling the manifold down. so, have you tried disconnecting the cold start injector plug on the manifold? (if you look at the pic you posted, the top point of the arrow is on the injector)

I used the expensive gaskets from advanced discount auto. The cold start injector plug, does it have a plug on it? or is it the copper line with gas that hooks to the manifold?
