Not too long ago, I added an inline switch to my power antennae. I can think of a few good reasons for doing this. 1) retract for forest driving, 2) retract for CD playing, because my stereo doesn't do it automatically, and 3) because it's just one more custom feature.
When others get into my truck, they always ask what that switch is for and I say, "Check this out!" and flip the switch. It usually takes a minute for them to realize what I just did and then they ask me why I would do such a thing. Because I wanted to. That's why. Ha!
So who all has mods like this? Kinda dumb, but still kick a$$ custom.

Putting the CAI on my '85 too.... That in retrospect was dumb....

those last 2 at the top of the tailgate are just magnets; I move them around to random places of the truck when I feel an urge to
and I seen window tint mentioned... well my 15% all the way around has been AWESOME in the Florida sun!

my wierdest mod is a switch inside the grill that is wired through a relay to the dome light switch and the horn so when the switch is on and the door opens the horn goes on, and with the air horn i added for 20 bucks that thing is loud.

you could make it really complex and add a blinker flasher and a resister if needed so it even pulses like an alarm, lol
oh boy... I have something to do on a boring weekend now
Spencer's in the mall; that place is awesome... I think they were like $3 a piece

my most worthless mod??? well, not exactly worthless, but sure is irritating at times... it turns down my stereo at inoppritune times, costs me lots and lots of money, always hogs the passenger seat, makes my best friend sit in the back, and never gives me the right directions to where i need to go...

"hmmm" worthy mods
-removed factory power windows, locks, antenna (manual stuff is more reliable IMO)
-auto -> 5spd swap
-removed a/c
-late style steering box swap (quicker ratio)
-swapped in an '85 brown/tan interior (was factory gray)
-ZUK mod (most people around here don't understand)

i too have the power antenna switch mod....
I have changed the factory 12v plug to be hot all the time,
i've added 2 more always hot 12v plugs, one in front and one in the rear,
I've added a switch on the inside of the tailgate to roll the window down from inside the cargo area, (great for camping)
i've made screens that magetically attached to the two rear windows and rear big window.
