Best way to lower it, would be to get a 2wd toyota pickup chassis.
But then, you would lose 4wd.
Good luck, not many people have lowered them, but i would love a lowered 1st gen 4runner to go cruising in, kinda like a 70's blazer 2wd.... sweet trucks...

I knew you didn't actually MEAN it (at least, I think you didn't actually mean it...). But you never know, the guy just might take you seriously. Although, you'd think with the banner at the top of the page saying, "The OFF ROAD Adventure Begins Here" he'd figure we wouldn't have too many good things to say about slamming a 4x4...

no, no, no bad homeboy. sell the 4x4 to someone deserving and buy a 4x2, get an s10 or something....I dont think God would be to happy with you if you lowered a 4x4 anything, esp a great yota. thats kinda like putting a dress on john wayne, or putting clothes on eva longoria, its just wrong man! would pitty the fool

Lowering... you can't, they only go up. But you have definitely lowered yourself by even thinking about it.
